Surplus / Corrosive primed Ammo
You may have heard horror stories about shooting "corrosive" ammunition. Much of the "military surplus" from days past IS corrosive primed ammunition. using a Mercuric primer, this ammunition can lead to barrel corrosion. Don't panic though, a simple step can be followed and you can shoot corrosive ammunition all day everyday till the cows come home. All you need to do is clean your fire arm after you are done shooting. Tell me you Do clean your firearm? Right? The combustion of the mercuric or corrosive priming system leaves a salt type deposit in the barrel and action. You just need to clean it out when your done. Don't wait a day or two, especially if it's humid or you have a swamp cooler. We don't see this ammunition a whole bunch anymore, but it's still out there. If you shoot 8mm Mauser (8X57mm) or Mosin Nagant ( 7.62X39mm) and buy the ammo in those big "tins", thats likely corrosive. It's really no big deal, just clean your gun when your done!

22LR AMMO In Stock

We have 22LR ammunition in stock. This has defenately been a challenge to obtain. The ammo we have is Agulia 22 MATCH ammo. It is a higher grade ammunition than the normal "bulk" plinking ammo that people normally purchase. 22LR ammo has been sporadically  available at "Big Box Stores". You have to be there as they receive the shipments and are limited in how much you can purchase. I looked on Cabela's web site the other day and was excited to see the had some Remington 22LR ammo for $3.59 per box of 50. COOL I thought until I tried to get some and they had a limit of ONE BOX! Really? Hopefully in the not too distant future we will have an endless supply of rimfire ammo again!
The Agulia Match grade ammo is $8.99 per box of 50 or $74.95 for a "brick" of 500 when paying cash, check or debit card. We have no limit on the amount of 22LR ammo you can purchase.
We also have in stock some "sub sonic" 22LR at the same price
